Winter

I think that the weather needs to get the hint....winter is OVER.  Winter Semester ended last week, and Spring starts tomorrow.  It went well!  Not as well as I had hoped...but better then last semester, so at least I am improving!  I hit a six month mark this month which made me happy, very happy. :)  I also got two more jobs plus the one I already have...it has been a good day!!  Now I should really unpack...ya my room is full of boxes and has been for three...maybe more....days.  At least I have a place to sleep!  Time to tackle the mass of boxes....:(

ICE CREAM!!

So basically....we all (my roommates and a couple of my FHE brothers) just had a bunch of sugar....eight of us ate about a gallon and a half of ice cream, creamery ice cream.  Practically plain sugar!  It was pretty much amazing though!! Bethany took a bunch of pictures....but they are on her camera.  It was a great night. :)

I also went to a Persuasion with my mom and one of my roommates.  It was amazing!  Basically a great night. :)

March Madness

I love college, but sometimes it gets stressfull.  I decided that professors get together and say lets assign everything in March to all the students so that they are super busy.  I have three papers, and research papers at that, and a bunch of tests.  Oh and lots of social activities.  It's march madness, with a school twist to it.  March madness in the sense that I don't know how I will get through all of the homework...  Not exactly tons of fun, though the social part most definitely is,.....but then its April.  Which means finals, and I am done with my freshman year!  This year has gone by SUPER fast!  I'm ok with that though!  It works for me.  I am ready to move on and be a sophomore.  It will be a good year with a great roommate. :) 

Friends

I've had something on my mind all morning.  It kind of hit me this past week that most of my guy friends are leaving on missions this year.  Things will never be the same again.  By the time everyone is home, some will be married and living far away, we will never have the closeness we once did.  Everyone's lives are going in different directions now. 

We will make new friends, and still see the old ones, we will still have good times together and make new memories with the new friends.  Life will go on, and we will love it.  But I still miss the old times we had together.  I love my life right now, its great!  But everything is different now.  I the times we had together in high school, and but most of all I just miss my friends.  Especially one, in New Hampshire, a lot.  I love all of my new friends though, and I know I will gain more great friends like I had and have.  But some days I wish I could go back to high school.....

Date Night! :)

Tonight was great!  We had our first all roommate date.  We went Skittles Bowling and played Sardine's in the HFAC.  Fabulously fun!  Everyone got along super well...basically we just all had a blast together.  I love my roommates!! :)  Here are some highlights:

I Started A Blog...

Not sure why, but I decided to start a blog.  I've had the urge to for a few weeks now.  Yup, its random!  But its a new adventure, that's for sure!  Gives me something else to do when I am avoiding homework....haha not that I need another excuse..


Let's explain the title....it is a song by Josh Groban.  It is probably my favorite song.  Ever.  It is so beautiful and has so much meaning behind it.  I love it.  Makes me smile every time I listen to it, which is quite often. :)

This blog should be a new adventure.  Something to talk about my life and the college experience.  Enjoy! :)
